A Little Bit of Heartache

I Got my first gig in LA this past weekend and what a great gig it was. Gene Loves Jezebel was the headlining band at T-Boyle's Tavern in Pasadena and I supplied rocking New Wave jams all throughout the night.
Gene Loves Jezebel still has it as they performed a great set of classic tunes.

Retro Video : The Wake - " Talk About The Past "

" Talk About The Past " by The Wake. About a year or so ago I got a hold of Factory Records box set Communications 78-92. Loaded the box set on my ipod and hit play. The box set had alot of classics and some other obscure gems. While listening I came across this track that sounded much like New Order but with a slight difference. I thought nothing of it and just assumed it was a side project featuring a New Order member similar to Electronic. It was'nt until recent that I came across the music video(promo) and I was informed that The Wake were infact an original band and had no New Order members in their line-up. " Talk About The Past " may have been The Wake's greatest hit to date but their discography includes some other great post punk numbers.
